Description: As Principal Investigator, I led a multi-center prospective observational study aimed at evaluating both short- and long-term health outcomes among patients recovering from COVID-19.
Since its emergence in late 2019, COVID-19 has been recognized as a multi-organ disease with a wide range of lingering symptoms. Survivors often experience prolonged effects resembling post-viral syndromes seen in earlier coronavirus outbreaks. However, the long-term impact, especially on individuals with comorbidities or severe disease, remains under-investigated.
