Description: In 2022, I served as Co-Investigator on a randomized, open-label clinical trial assessing the impact of intravenous ferric carboxymaltose (FCM) on functional capacity in patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy, reduced ejection fraction, and iron deficiency.
The study enrolled 80 heart failure patients, comparing those who received IV iron alongside standard therapy with those on standard therapy alone, over a 12-week follow-up period.
